Are there any events along the Confederation Trail during the month of July when it is more difficult to find accommodations?

Thank you for your inquiry to Ask an Islander. Your question is somewhat unclear to me but I’ll do my best. Right now, I am not aware of any events on the trail in July. However, go! WestPEI is planning an event from October 6 to 10.
The Island Walk is a relatively new product for Prince Edward Island with sections that follow the Confederation Trail. A growing number of visitors plan to walk or cycle this long-distance adventure this year.
Two great sources for local events include the Tourism PEI Festivals and Events calendar and The Buzz.
