Are there dog friendly attractions and restaurants.

Hello there,
Thank you for your question. A great place to spend time with your dog in PEI is on our beautiful beaches which are dog friendly, except for the PEI National Park beaches where dogs are not permitted due to the delicate wildlife and nesting areas.
You can however go to the PEI National Park with your dog and walk the trails. We also have several walking and biking trails such as Bonshaw Hills Provincial Park and the Confederation Trail. Dogs must be leashed at all times while on the beaches or trails.
You will find that many attractions and sites are dog friendly as long as your companion is on a leash.
As for restaurants, because of city bylaws and public health regulations, pets are not allowed where food is prepared or served. I recommend patios or take out and enjoy a day at the park! Food trucks are also a great option.
I also recommend checking out our travelling with your pet page.
I hope this helps,
Valerie
