Best seafood restaurants outside of PEI National Park?

Hi Jacqeline,
Prince Edward Island is bursting with culinary gems beyond the borders of the PEI National Park offering everything from traditional lobster suppers to sensational coastal cuisine. Blue Mussel Café in North Rustico is perched just outside of the PEI National Park. The restaurant is a seasonal favourite known for no-fuss, fresh-off-the-boat mussels, lobster rolls, and chowder, all enjoyed with a view of the harbour. One of the not to be missed dishes is the seafood bubbly bake. The dish consists a creamy, savory casserole featuring a medley of seafood (halibut, scallops, and lobster), all baked in a rich, bubbly sauce with a crispy breadcrumb topping. It's characterized by its bubbling, cheesy top and the comforting flavors of seafood and an absolutely luscious cream sauce.
In Charlottetown, the capital city, Claddagh Oyster House stands out for its cozy vibe and impeccably fresh oysters, lobster, scallops, and daily catches. In my opinion, the jerk spiced crab legs, oysters Rockefeller and the lobster risotto are absolutely delicious!
And lastly, The Wheelhouse in Georgetown, PEI is a harborfront gem that highlights the very best of local seafood in dishes that are playful as well as flavourful. The scallop ceviche, fish and chips, mussels and the lobster melt can become sharesies for the table so you can taste the array of our Island's seafood bounty.
Other spots of note include the Bao Shack at Trailside, Richard's Fresh Seafood, The Table, and North Shore Canteen.
Have an amazing visit!!
