do you recommend flying into charlottetown or halifax and driving over for a first timer. I'm coming all the way from WA. state-seattle. I sort of like the idea of driving over the bridge or taking the ferry. I'd love some insight! Thank you!

Hello Christine,
Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.
We are very excited to hear that you will be visiting our province this summer!
To get the full island experience, I would absolutely recommend flying into Halifax just to be able to experience the Confederation Bridge. It is the longest bridge in the world that goes over frozen waters. The bridge is truly a unique experience!
You could also arrive via the Confederation Bridge and leave by ferry to Nova Scotia, or do the reverse, giving you the chance to experience both scenic routes.
We wish you happy and safe travels!
Take care,
Taylor

Asked: I will be visiting Souris in early July 2024. I would love to take in a traditional lobster boil ( if that’s the correct wording , with the potatoes and corn and sea food ). Is there a local area known for offering this?
