Most towns and communities across Prince Edward Island host Canada Day activities. Charlottetown is the premiere location for Canada Day events held all day at Victoria Park. There are a number of free and family friendly experiences including Mi'kmaq culture programs, live music, food vendors,  inflatables, giveaways, and an amazing fireworks show at dusk. While there, you may take a walk on the beautiful boardwalk around Victoria Park and enjoy the harbor view, a stroll through the vibrant historic downtown including Victoria Row pedestrian street, as well the waterfront that comes alive with the shops and food venues to experience at Peake's Quay, Founder's Hall and Confederation Landing Park. Also, North Rustico, approximately a 40 minute drive, hosts a grand showcase of Canada Day celebrations.
