Prince Edward Island has many wonderful camping locations for your RV. Booking for the provincial campgrounds opens mid-April 2025. Because of Prince Edward Island's fragile eco system and coastal landscape, boondocking is illegal on the island. Our province does not have a lot of federal land and only 12% of the land is public land. That 12% of land is used as natural areas, ponds & wetlands, provincial forests, and wildlife management areas.
