Hi following my question regarding the Ferry from Wood Islands could you advise how often it runs, is there a set daily timetable?ThanksLibby

Hello Libby,
Thank you for your question to "Ask an Islander".
Northumberland Ferries operates the ferry service from Wood Islands, PEI to Caribou, NS. This ferry crossing is a beautiful and relaxing 75 minute sail across the Northumberland Strait. Arrival at least 40 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time is advised.
The ferry service resumes in May. The schedule for the 2025 season hasn't been announced yet however it operates with a set schedule that offers several trips daily during the summer months. For further information and the soon to be released ferry schedule, please visit the Northumberland Ferries website.
Looking forward to your arrival to visit Prince Edward Island.
Regards,
Kevin Barbour
