Hi i have a question is the place for digging the clam in Maximeville, Victoria , Tea hill is that open for public ?

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. Yes, Maximeville, Victoria and Tea Hill beaches are open to the public and are the favourite spots for clam digging. 

You must be aware of the rules before you head out clam digging. There are size limits, catch limits, and seasons and you want to watch for signage in case of closures. Visit the Department of Fisheries and Oceans website page 'What do I need to know before harvesting clams' for more information. 

Then just grab a shovel and a bucket and have fun!
