How many days should we visit to get a full PEI experience?

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander. We’re absolutely thrilled to hear that you’ll be visiting our beautiful province!

Usually, I suggest about a week to get the full PEI experience. We have three coastal drives on the island: North Cape Coastal Drive, Central Coastal Drive, and Points East Coastal Drive. The best way to experience the Island in full is to explore each of its scenic coastal drives, taking time to stop and enjoy the charming sights and hidden gems you’ll discover along the way. I usually suggest 2 days per coastal drive. With a 7-day trip, this leaves an extra day during your visit to have a relaxing beach day or to explore downtown Charlottetown in depth!
