Tourism PEI

I plan to come to the Island at the end of August is it still a good time and what festivals if any going on?

Answer by:

Greetings from Prince Edward Island!

Late August is a great time to visit PEI. Summer will be in full swing until Labour Day weekend, so there will be lots of fun things to do.

I suggest you visit the Tourism PEI, Festivals & Events PEI, Discover Charlottetown and Explore Summerside websites to see everything that will be happening while you’re here.

Also, be sure to check out The Buzz – that’s how locals stay up-to-date on community events and local art, music, theatre, film and much more.

The Charlottetown Festival has a fantastic summer line-up (I highly recommend you book your tickets in advance, as we’re expecting a very busy summer – I’ve already booked my tickets for Tell Tale Harbour in mid-August!).

I hope this information is helpful. If you have more questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
