I would like to see a pei beach . we are coming off the cruise ship and don't have access to a car and the anne of green gables tour is fully booked. what is the best way to see a red beach with limited time.

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. I'm glad to hear that you're stopping by for a quick visit! The closest red sand beach to Charlottetown is Keppoch Road Beach or Kinlock Beach, both in Stratford which is about 7 km from the Port. 

There are many ways to get around PEI if you don't have a car. We have tour operators, ride share options like Kari (a locally owned and operated version of Uber), Uride and car sharing like Turo for a rental option if you'd like to drive yourself.
