I'd like to drive to Evangeline. Where is that?

Hi Stephanie,

Thank you for your question!

Evangeline is a community on the south-west side of Prince Edward Island. There isn’t a specific town called Evangeline, it's more the region of Evangeline. Towns like Wellington and Mont Carmel are good waypoints to find the region. If it is the Acadian heritage that you are interested in, I would recommend starting in Miscouche where the Acadian Museum is located. Along with that if you follow the North Cape Coastal Drive along Route 11, you will be in the heart of it all, a beautiful drive along the coast. Along the way, there is also the Village Musicale. In Abrams-Village, this small village comes to life with music and traditional Acadian cuisine, fun for everyone!

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Valerie
