If you cross into pei on the ferry, and come back on the bridge, do you pay for both crossings?

Answer by:

Hello Cynthia,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.

If you come to Prince Edward Island by ferry, you are only charged if you book a guaranteed spot on the crossing. Arrive the recommended 45 minutes before the crossing and you get on the ferry for free.

Leaving the Island is when you pay your toll, it is an exit toll only. Leaving by the Confederation Bridge, you only pay the brings toll.

Enjoy your visit.
