Good morning;

Thank you for your inquiry to Ask an Islander. I too love thrifting so will pass along my favourite spots and a few others. The best route to take for a concentration of shops and stores is the Trans Canada Highway (Rt #1) starting in New Haven to Tryon, then Route #10 to Summerside and Route #2 to #12 to Cascumpec.

If you haven't done so already, download our 2024 visitor’s guide or pick up a hard copy when you arrive at the airport or any Visitor Information Centre. You can always stay in touch by signing up for the Tourism PEI newsletter which includes details on upcoming festivals and events and recipes too!

Have a fabulous vacation and thank you for choosing Prince Edward Island.
