Hi Catherine,

Congratulations on early retirement and I am excited to hear that you're thinking of retiring here in PEI!

I live in Eastern PEI so I may be a little biased but both east and west are equally beautiful. With PEI being relatively small, you're never much more than an hour away from a more urban location. It will really depend on your needs and wants.

The PEI Government website has some great information on moving to PEI. I would encourage you to check it out. You could also check out the coastal drives on the Tourism PEI website to get a feel of the eastern and the western ends.

I hope this helps and we hope to welcome you soon!
