Hello Clifford,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.

In September, you can see highs of 20 degrees celsius and lows of 12 degrees celsius at night. Although the weather is starting to get a little colder in September, it is typically still quite comfortable. Not every day is a good day for a swim on the beach, but a walk on the beach is just as nice!

We suggest typically at least 3-5 days to see the entire island. We have three coastal drives in the three sections of the island. The coastal drives are the most scenic, and they will take you all around the coast. The North Cape Coastal Drive, which covers the island's western end, will take about 5 hours of driving nonstop. The Points East Coastal Drive, which covers the eastern end, will take about 6-7 hours of driving nonstop. The Central Coastal Drive, which includes everything in between, will take about 4 hours of driving nonstop.

Wishing you a wonderful time on the island—whether you're beachside or scenic driving, there's always something to enjoy.

Kind regards,

Taylor
