Is there a car hire to get from Charlottetown to the Wood Island Ferry?

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander about ride options. PEI has a couple of rideshare options. Our version of Uber is Kari and Uride. Uride might be a better option for travel to Wood Islands from Charlottetown. Kari does say that it offers transportation to rural areas, but that it might not always be available. Uride appears to travel farther outside urban areas. 

There are also shuttle options. East Connection Shuttle offers an eight-passenger van shuttle to and from Souris (Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine ferry), Montague, Wood Islands ferry and St. Peters.
