Price to cross on ferry and come back on bridge

Hello Jo,

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. If you are making a reservation on the ferry from Nova Scotia to PEI you will have to pay the fare to reserve your space. It is around $91 for a normal vehicle, the fare varies depending on the size of your vehicle. Then to leave PEI via the Confederation Bridge the toll is $50.25 for a normal vehicle. You can have a look at their fares here

If you come to PEI by ferry, on stand-by (no reservation) you can come for free but have to be prepared to wait until the next ferry if that crossing is full. Reservations are recommended if you need to be on a certain crossing, but if your schedule is flexible you might consider going on stand-by and cross for free.

I hope that makes sense!
