have you ever seen anything spooky in the yeo house like a ghost?
Hey there!
I haven't experienced any paranormal events at Yeo House, but I'm sure you've heard of Wheelie? Wheelie is a tiny stuffed toy dog on wheels. The museum staff swears that it moves about on its own. They will put it in one room only for it to later appear in another!
There are, of course, other haunted spots on Prince Edward Island. The Kirk of St James church in Charlottetown has an eerie story associated with it: the phantom bell ringers! The church bells are said to ring on their own due to a tragic story. In the 1850s the bells were to ring at a time when they usually wouldn't be used. When neighbours went to investigate they saw three women dressed in white entering the church. But once the neighbours went inside, the women were nowhere to be seen. Later it was found that at the time the bells were ringing a ship was sinking in the waters around the Island. Three of the passengers that died were women that regularly attended the church.
And the King's Playhouse in Georgetown is also a good place for hauntings apparently. Major Temple William Faber McDonald, who died in 1918 has been seen onstage and backstage in ghostly form. The theatre reserves a seat for the Major for every show.
Hope you can visit the Island and have an eerie good time!
