We are staying in New London, PEI during the last week in June. Where is the best place to have a lobster supper?

Thank you for your inquiry to Ask an Islander about lobster suppers near New London. Interestingly, my first job was as a waitress at the New London Lions Club Lobster Suppers; sadly no longer operating.

The New Glasgow Lobster Suppers (pictured below), located just 14 kms south east of New London and a scenic drive along Route #6, has been in business for 65 years as of June 24. Here, you will find the traditional lobster dinner served with all the fixings - chowder, rolls, mussels, salads and dessert, including Mile-High Lemon Meringue Pie. You even can choose the size of lobster you want!

Alternatively, you may wish to travel 18 km north east along Route #6 to Fisherman's Wharf in North Rustico. Here, the claim to fame is PEI's longest salad bar.

Both establishments offer great value and service. If time permits, visit both. You won't leave either place hungry!
