We are visiting with a motorhome. Where can we park close to the historic centre so we can walk and see the beautiful historic?
Hello Claudia,
Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.
Parking your motorhome in the historic centre of Charlottetown can be challenging. There is limited space and presently the area I would direct you to, is under road work and construction. I would recommend parking in one of the larger box stores parking lots and either walking, transit or use a car service (Kari, Uride or taxi) to get downtown and explore. The closest parking lot would be the Sobey's on the corner of University Avenue and Allen Street. Also on University Avenue there is a Superstore parking lot.
I hope this helps!
Happy vacation planning,
Erin Davis
