Tourism PEI

We would like to go on a picnic. Looking for someplace with a picnic table and either a valley view or ocean view. We will be visiting the last two weeks of June.

Hello Shawna,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.

Prince Edward Island is a picnic paradise. Most of the eight provincial campgrounds provide scenic water views. Also, the province operates 12 day parks. These parks are wonderful places to enjoy beautiful nature scenery and the outdoor experience.

In addition, picnics are a popular activity at the PEI National Park.

The PEI Tourism website is an excellent resource to planning a vacation and offers further information on beaches and parks

Enjoy the PEI picnic experience!

Regards,

Kevin Barbour
