What are the best campgrounds for couples?

My number one choice for a romantic getaway under the stars would have to be Tree Top Haven. This is an amazing resort that includes winterized cabins and geodesic domes that allow you to see the night sky and the morning sun. It really is a beautiful place.

Also beautiful but much more modest, both in terms of conveniences and price, are a couple of really lovely campgrounds. The PEI National Park is great, Cavendish campground  in particular. They offer sites for tents, RVs, and even have a couple of semi-permanent tent/cabins for rent. This campground is very close to the ocean so falling asleep with the sound of waves is possible depending on which site you choose.

Finally, New Glasgow Highlands similarly offers both tent and RV spaces and also has cute little rustic cabins available. This campground is very close to the New Glasgow Lobster Suppers, The PEI Preserve Company, and The Mill. All super places to have dinner.
