What are the best night clubs in Charlottetown for a university student?

Answer by:

Hello Missy,

Thank you for your question to Ask An Islander.

If you are presently attending University, some of our summer favourites have closed for the season, but never fear, there are some great date and night club options.

Kent Street in known for their night life and clubs.

The Factory had two floors for dancing. Usually two DJs and two dance floors advertised every weekend. They are known for their karaoke, trivia and sports nights.

Hunter's is known for the weekend live bands, DJs and theme nights.

The Charlottetown Beer Garden is also known for the nightclub vibes on the weekends.

John Brown on Victoria Row tend to have dance nights once the fall season ends.

The Trailside does have some dances nights, but more of a sit down entertainment spot.

The Old Triangle and Olde Dublin are more an Irish bar feel.

Watch for special events at the PEI Brewing Company on Kensington Road.

The Pony Boat is more gaming, but have had a few dance night events.

If you are around for Halloween, check out The Love Junkies, Hype Halloween Video Dance Party, Hit the Coast and Two Hours Traffic.

In the summer, watch for Peakes Quay!

At the University, watch for the on campus events.

Happy dancing,

Erin Davis
