Hi Julien,

Thank you for reaching out. Prince Edward Island is divided into three coastal drives: North Cape Coastal Drive, Central Coastal Drive, which includes Red Sands Shore and Green Gables Shore, and then Points East Coastal Drive. These routes will take you along the coast with breathtaking views at every turn.

Each of the coastal drives is very scenic and I hope you can take them all in. Another idea for scenic drives is our heritage roads, or as we like to call them, our ‘dirt roads’. These are usually more inland but they are so pretty, often covered like a tunnel with the trees providing a canopy of sorts. You can find some of these dirt roads featured here.

Finding a place to eat good local food won’t be a problem! There are so many choices; it is really hard to choose. One spot that comes to mind that you could check out is Richard’s Fresh Seafood with two locations. One is in beautiful Victoria by the Sea and the original is located in Covehead, just inside the PEI National Park. Here you can place your order and then stroll along the wharf while you wait. Just across the road, you’ll find miles and miles of white sandy beach!

Maybe you’d be interested in a traditional lobster supper? Fisherman’s Wharf in North Rustico and New Glasgow Lobster Suppers are both amazing experiences.

Our website, tourismpei.com, is a great resource when deciding where to eat. You can look up restaurants and take-outs by region.

I hope this helps you plan your trip.

Take care,
Valerie
