What festivals are happening Aug 19-25?

Hello Cathy,

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander! August is such a beautiful time to be visiting Prince Edward Island. The Kensington Harvest Festival will be happening from August 17th to the 21st. An old-fashioned exhibition with a parade, talent show, food demonstrations, and much much more!

On that same theme, The Dundas Plowing Match is happening August 23rd - 25th. Every year thousands of people come from near and far to experience the down-home feel of an old-time country fair.

Keep an eye on Tourism Prince Edward Island's festivals and events page, events are added as they are announced. There will be tons of musical events while you are here, theatre and culinary! If you love live music, you can find a lively Ceilidh almost any night of the week!

Take care and see you in August.
