What is PEI like in mid October?

I am happy to hear that you are thinking of coming to the Island in mid-October. It is my favourite time of year. The fall foliage is beautiful on Prince Edward Island and would be at their peak in mid-October. Displays of red, yellow and orange colored leaves make hiking and biking all the more enjoyable. Things tend to wind down a bit in October for sure, but there are still lots of things to do and see! Restaurants are open year round except for a handful of the seasonal ones.
