Thank you for your inquiry to Ask an Islander. I would suggest that you have two or three transportation options to get from Charlottetown to Cavendish depending on the date of your arrival.

Our public transit provider, T3 Transit, will soon provide four round trips daily, seven days a week from Charlottetown along the north shore to Cavendish. The schedule for this new service is expected to be posted at t3transit.ca/transit-pei-schedules this week.

Ride sharing is available with Kari, PEI's version of Uber and a number of taxi companies operate from Charlottetown. Visit Getting Around for details of ground transportation during your visit to Prince Edward Island.

I invite you to download or order our 2022 Visitor’s Guide. You can always stay in touch by signing up for the Tourism PEI newsletter which includes details on upcoming festivals and events and recipes too!

Have a fabulous vacation!
