What is the usual average weather and temperature like during the last week of May and first week in June near the Cavendish area. Cheers.

Answer by:

Hello Valerie,

Thank you for your question to Ask An Islander.

The weather in May is a mix of sun and cloud, we highly recommend a waterproof jacket, just in case. Average temperatures are a high of 13 to a low of 4 degrees. In 2023, the last week of May had a daytime high of 28 and a low of 1 degree overnight.

The first week of June is a more sun and fewer cloud cover. Average temperatures are a high of 19 to a low of 11 degrees. In 2023, the first week of June had a daytime high of 31 and a low of 6 degrees overnight.

Happy vacation planning,

Erin Davis
