When buying cooked lobster what are the best ways to reheat the lobster?

Hi John,

Thank you for contacting Ask An Islander. 

Lobster should be cooked either in clean seawater or salted fresh water (add 2 tbsp./25 ml of salt to each quart/L of fresh water). Also, this is the type of water you should use to reheat the cold lobster as well. Bring the salted water to a boil and turn off the heat. Then, carefully submerge your cold lobster in the boiled water for a few minutes. This will bring the meat back to a hot temperature. 

Another mouth-watering option would be to deshell the lobster and fry it in melted butter.

Personally, I recommend garlic butter as a side when enjoying our delicious lobster!
