when is lobster season on the island

Hello Mike,

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander! Prince Edward Island has two lobster seasons, spring and fall. The spring lobster season was over in late June. The fall lobster season is scheduled to begin August 11th (weather permitting) and runs until October 12th.

The fall season takes place on the Northumberland Strait side of the Island from Victoria by the Sea to Tignish.
