Hello Elisabeth,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander.

July and August are the two busiest months on PEI. June and September are also fairly steady with much to offer, see and do. The best time to visit will depend on what you are interested in seeing and doing while you are here. Some places are open seasonally, while others stay open year-round. If you visit the Tourism PEI website, the dates of operation for most locations are posted. This may aid you in deciding when to experience our beautiful province.

Enjoy PEI,

Lisa

Asked: I will be visiting Souris in early July 2024. I would love to take in a traditional lobster boil ( if that’s the correct wording , with the potatoes and corn and sea food ). Is there a local area known for offering this?
