Where can we enjoy traditional celtic music and kitchen parties in PEI between September 5 and 9, 2023?

Good afternoon Barbara;
Summer music carries through into well into September across Prince Edward Island. Here are a few venues where you can find Island performers playing traditional music with a down home welcome:
- the Ross Family at the Guild in Charlottetown on Sept. 5 and they move to Clinton Hills in Stanley Bridge on Sept 6;
- the Sterling Women's Institute Hall in Stanley Bridge hosts shows most every night of the week. My favourite is Monday evening with Back Home Tonight. However, I see that you are arriving on Tuesday, so please refer to the performance schedule in this list of kitchen parties, live music and ceilidhs;
- the Chaisson Family have a ceilidh (pronounced 'kay-lee') at the Stanley Bridge Hall too on Wednesday. This show features fiddle, piano, songs and stories;
- Fiddlers' Sons host a show at Hillcrest United Church in Montague on Sept. 7. Eddie Quinn is a wonderful host, singer and songwriter as are the other band members.
On Saturday night, Sept. 9, I would suggest an entertaining night in downtown Charlottetown with Gordon Belsher at Brakish - a restaurant on the waterfront beside Peakes Wharf. Gordon is a member of Back Home Tonight but this will be a solo performance. He is a great entertainer and musician, performing Maritime songs and a few tunes.
