Where is the best place on the island to celebrate Canada Day?

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander! There will be Canada Day festivities happening all across the Island, but here are a few that I am sure that you will enjoy! 

The capital city of Charlottetown starts the day with a 21 Gun Salute at Victoria Park at noon, live music, Tastes of Canada (and Beyond), and ends the day with a spectacular display of fireworks! 

Souris starts with a flag raising at noon and cake! Activities all day at CN Park, live entertainment, BBQ, a boat parade of lights and the fireworks finale at 10:00 p.m.

North Rustico celebrates at Seawalk Park. Activities happening from 8 a.m.– 10 p.m., with the Street Parade starting at 10:30 am. Live entertainment starts at noon with a great line up all day and evening. Vendors and children's activities and fireworks to end the day!
