Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander, I'm so glad to hear that you're coming to visit. It is hard to make suggestions with limited information, but I can give you some suggestions in each region. 

For the Points East Coastal Drive Region: 

Rodd Brudenell River Resort has cottages on site that have kitchens. 

Chapel Suites offers European kitchenettes in their suites. 

Lighthouse and Beach Motel has 2 efficiency units with a kitchen and living room and a large deck and BBQ.

Central Coastal Drive:

Quality Inn and Suites 

Rodd Royalty 

The Gables of PEI

North Cape Coastal Drive:

Mill River Resort has some lovely Chalets on the property and a restaurant in the resort. 

Waterford Cottages and Campground. 

Rooney Retreat if you would like to go the cottage route. 

No matter where you stay in Prince Edward Island, you're never more than a 15-minute drive to a beach. I find that the beaches on the south side of the island are more popular for sea glass. The waters are a little calmer on that side. You can find sea glass on the north shore beaches as well but it's just a little harder to find. 

Souris Beach located in the Points East Coastal Drive is a very popular destination for sea glass hunters. If you do head to Souris, be sure to check out the Souris Historical Lighthouse which has one floor dedicated to sea glass, and the gift shop next door Souris by the Sea Treasures has a lot of great sea glass information and treasures! Souris even hosts a Sea Glass Festival in July!
