Hi Nick,

Thank you for reaching out. Depending on what type of fishing you're looking for, I would suggest heading to one of the nearby rivers. Brudenell, Cardigan or Montague rivers. For inland fishing please consult the Government of Prince Edward Island website for licensing rules and regulations.

Fishing for mackerel and striped bass in tidal waters is quite popular in PEI. Both of these species are highly regulated by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. Please consult their 'recreational fishing' webpage for rules and regulations.

If you'd like an adventure on the water, check out Tranquility Cove Adventures out of Georgetown for one of their deep sea fishing excursions!

Happy fishing!

Valerie
