Where is the quietest place to spend some time relaxing on PEI?

Answer by:

Hi Patricia,

There is not shortage of really beautiful quiet places to relax on PEI. There tends to be a few more people in the Charlottetown and Cavendish areas in the summer . One place that comes to mind would be the beach at Pantings Shore in the eastern end of Prince Edward Island, near Wood Islands (Route 4) on Pantings Shore Road. If it isn't a beach you are looking for, there is also the Confederation trail system that runs right across Prince Edward island it has many short section you could walk. These trails are spectacular and along the water in some spots and through the woods in others.

To Be honest, on PEI you are never more than "minutes" away from somewhere to relax.

Enjoy your visit!
