I would like to find a restaurant that serves lobster tails ( not the entire lobster on the seafood platter ( with shrimp, scallops, corn, no mussels.) Is there such a place? We will be in PEI for the end of June to early July

This sounds like you are looking for what locals call a Seafood Boil. The Merchantman does a Seafood Boil with a whole lobster, if you call ahead, they can arrange for just the tail. Carr's Oyster Bar has a lot of seafood variety on their menu and you can order everything you wish for and more! Clam Diggers in Cardigan has a great variety of platters and seafood. 

Our local lobster suppers and dinners serve whole lobsters. Fisherman's Wharf Lobster Supper, Cardigan Lobster Supper, New Glasgow Lobster Supper, Merchantman, Lobster on the Wharf are a few places you could order a lobster dinner and just add items. 

If you are just looking for tails only, you may wish to reach out to one of the restaurants and arrange your meal and reservation with them.
