Mill River Provincial Park
This park is located on beautiful Mill River, 8 km Northwest of O'Leary. The Park includes walking trails, wagon rides, playground equipment, an activity centre and access to the Mill River Fun Park with water slides and a swimming pool (extra charge), as well as several fun, exciting and educational programs. Rodd Mill River Resort, a four-star resort hotel, and the prestigious Mill River Golf Course are located within the park.
Mill River Provincial Park is located within the North Cape Coastal Drive touring region.
Winter Activities at Mill River
Mill River Winter Park is located in the western part of PEI and has lots of fun activities for winter enthusiast of all ages. The impressive outdoor activities and facilities of Mill River Provincial Park provide unlimited vacation opportunities:
Cross Country Skiing - Over 10 k of professionally groomed ski trails, and the longest lighted trail system for night skiing on PEI.
Snowshoeing - Want to spend some time in the great outdoors but skiing and tobogganing are not that appealing? Why not think about trying the ancient art of snowshoeing.
Tobogganing Hill - A safe, lighted toboggan hill is conveniently located right in front of the resort hotel.
Ice Skating - An outdoor rink is located adjacent to the resort which offers night time skating until 9:00 p.m.
Special Activities - Horse-drawn sled rides are offered Saturday and Sundays from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Bonfires are offered every Friday and Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Fun Park is worth a visit, with activities for the entire family - toddlers and up. Attractions include a swimming pool, sea of balls, bumper boats, pirate ship, kiddies' pool with waterslides, giant twister slide and the Aqua Rage and playground equipment for five to 12 year olds. Admission includes all activities in the park. Group rates on request. Advance notice preferred for large groups. Open July 1 - Sept 1, 2014
