Are there any beaches near Cavendish that you don't have to pay to access and are allowed dogs?

Good afternoon Candice,
Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. As may already probably know, dogs are not permitted on the beach within the PEI National Park which now runs from French River to the west and beyond Dalvay to the east from April 1 to October 15.
Dogs are permitted in provincial parks and there is no entry fee. The nearest to Cavendish is Cabot Beach Provincial Park in Malpeque. Also, as noted in this recent Globe and Mail campaign, Cousin's Shore is a popular beach. However, please note that there are no facilities at this beach.
