Good afternoon Donna,

Thank you for your inquiry to Ask an Islander. I believe one of our ambassadors answered a similar s question for you earlier this year. I refer you to his response at tourismpei.com/askanislander/questions/where-is-the-warmest-water-to-swim-and-sit-on-beach-donna-albright.

In June, the waters are still warming up. I would suggest any sheltered beach on the south shore may be your best bet. Canoe Cove is my go to in early summer.

Enjoy your vacation to Prince Edward Island.

All the best.

Verna Lynne
