Do most restaurants require or allow reservations?

Many restaurants will take reservations. Most restaurants do not require them.

If you have a group, of over 8 people, reservations are recommended and encouraged. Looking to attend a lobster supper? New Glasgow, Fisherman's Wharf or Cardigan lobster suppers, only groups require reservations.

There are a few food experiences which require reservations, The Table, FireWorks Feast and Cordial Picnics are a few examples of these types of events.
