I would like info on the 70 mile Coastal garage sale please. A map and places to stay would be greatly appreciated. It would be 2 of us travelling, 2 long time girl friends.Thanks so much in advance

The 70 mile yard sale has grown to one of the largest outdoor events on the Island. Every September, people line the roads with all of their treasures. Professional hunters, regular Islanders and visitors come for miles to take part. Now you can get an agenda with all of the locations for you to follow but keep in mind a number of people just set up on the route. Early birds are always a factor in getting what you want so don’t put off getting to sites that perk your interest. Weather permitting, this is a great event and please be careful crossing the road to stands as traffic is much higher than normal during this time.   

Places to stay in the area at this time should be available at this time. Georgetown Inn has nice rooms and dining room.
