Is it true that I could be charged if I pass “ Caution Cliff Erosion “ sign? I am trying to carefully reach one really nice looking spot but some of the tourists told me there is a fine for trespassing such signs.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out. I understand the allure of our gorgeous red cliffs but climbing on the cliffs in the Prince Edward Island National Park is not only dangerous, it is prohibited.

There are areas that are now closed due to the recent erosion from Hurricane Fiona. Please obey any signage and stay away from the edge. It is extremely dangerous.

Regards,

Valerie
