IS THERE A BEACH with A LOBSTER FESTIVAL AND lobster is cooked on the beach?

Hello Harold,
Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. We have beaches and a lobster festival, but I can't find any events where the lobster is cooked on the beach.
The Summerside Lobster Carnival is happening July 10th - 12th. A fun-filled weekend celebrating the lobster and the lobster fishery. There are lots of culinary demonstrations featuring lobster and there is even a lobster eating contest!
We also have lobster fishing excursions where you can learn about the fishery and have a lobster supper aboard a lobster boat. Lobster Lovers with the Fiddling Fisherman is a great way to experience fresh PEI lobster! Sail aboard the "Chaisson a Dream" to enjoy breathtaking views and experience the daily life of a lobster fisherman. Pull your own lobster from a trap and enjoy a lobster dinner on board. There is no fresher way to eat PEI lobster!
Another option would be the Mussel and Lobster Shore Boil experience with retired fisherman Jim Conohan. Here, you'll learn about the mussel fishery in Prince Edward Island and you'll help to clean the mussels from the 'sock' before cooking the mussels to be served with a fresh PEI lobster.
Visit our website for more Authentic PEI culinary experiences!
Enjoy!
