I am happy to hear that you are considering moving to PEI. The Government of Prince Edward Island website has a lot of great information on moving to PEI. It has information on housing, health care, post-secondary education, getting around and much more. 

I would suggest that you reach out to UPEI's Student Affairs and the Webster Centre for Student Success. They may be able to help you to connect with someone who has recently made the move and enrolled in the Atlantic Veterinary College. Students come to PEI from all over the country and the world.
