My family will be in PEI next week and we are interested in the Anne of Green Gables site. How much is a visit? Do we need to buy in advance or can we buy when we get there?

Good morning from Prince Edward Island,

Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. This summer is a great time to visit as we are celebrating 150 years of L.M. Montgomery with special events.  At Green Gables Heritage Place, the admission fee is $9.00 for adults, $7.50 for seniors (65+) and youth (up to 17 years-old) are free. You will pay at the entrance gate. Check out the great summer activity schedule online, which may help you decide which day to visit.

You may also enjoy other sites that are outlined in our Anne of Green Gables itinerary.

I invite you to download or order our 2024 visitor’s guide. You can always stay in touch by signing up for the Tourism PEI newsletter which includes details on upcoming festivals and events and recipes too!

Have a wonderful summer vacation!
