Hello, planning a visit to PEI August 13-19. Are there specific restaurants that are so popular that we should reserve in advance?

Answer by:

Hi Nancy,

Always best to try and book in advance as many places are very busy during the high season and would recommend calling the restaurants that you are interested in and booking now. There are places like The Inn at Bay Fortune booked out months in advance.

Some places like the Blue Mussel Cafe do not take reservations so it’s best to show up early or wait for a table and it’s well worth the wait!

Richard’s Seafood in Covehead is another where it’s definitely worth the wait. They have great lobster rolls and fish & chips!

Hope this helps folks but to avoid disappointment always book in advance! There are plenty other great spots to enjoy our Island cuisine.

Hope you find your favourite and your stay enjoy our Island!

Cheers
