We are looking for a Airbnb on the ocean, lobster tours, side by side at adventures, clam digging, markets, festivals and of course small fishing villages. We will be arriving may 30 and plan on leaving June 6. Any help could be greatly appreciated ❤️

Hello, Eireann,

Thank you for your question to Ask an Islander!

I'm pretty glad to see you are so interested in our province! It's great that you will stay from May 30th to June 6th. There are many Airbnbs available across the Island near the water! For a more comprehensive guide and listings of such Airbnbs, I recommend visiting the official Airbnb website regarding P.E.I. locations to specify dates, places, and other desired results. The official Tourism Accommodations website offers a comprehensive guide for other accommodation listings and lodging locations.

As for lobster tours, a well-known lobster tour guide business is Top Notch Charters Lobster Tours in downtown Charlottetown. Clam digging! There is a myriad of clam-digging locations across the province. The official Tourism Clam-Digging website offers a complete, comprehensive guide to the activity. . . seasons, locations, and other vital pieces of information. The southern shore of the province, which contains beautiful red sands, harbours beaches such as Chelton Beach and Argyle Shore, and both locations are brimming with clam-digging opportunities. Wood Islands, not far from the ferry, is well-known for clam-digging fun, too.

I highly recommend checking The Buzz (a local publication) near the beginning of your stay for local festivals and markets happening during the summer months. It's a monthly print and online publication that reveals the province's upcoming events, festivals, markets, ceilidhs, and other fun. The publication is extremely useful for both locals and visitors.

As for small fishing villages, Victoria-by-the-Sea is a beautiful place I recommend you visit during your stay. There is a fantastic chocolate shop, amazing seafood, fantastic walkways, a pretty harbour, and a picturesque lighthouse. As for another fishing village, I recommend the Souris area (located in the East). Summerside is officially a city with a small-town feel that will also quench your small village cravings.

As for side-by-side adventures, an official map guides you on such journeys. Moreover, an interactive trail map, guide, and the elaborative website explain trail etiquette and other relevant information. For possible rentals or purchasing of any needed equipment, I would contact Toy Master Motorsports & RV

If you have any further questions, please contact us at: 1-800-463-4734. Or, consult our official Tourism Site for further information and help. I hope you enjoy your stay on the Island, have plenty of fun, and get to see everything you hoped and dreamed of!

Warm and kind regards,

Bret MacCaull
