What is the best "anne of green gables" place to visit, and is it right in the city of Charlottetown?

Most of the Anne of Green Gables sites are outside of Charlottetown but you have the ultimate Anne experience right in Charlottetown with Anne of Green Gables the Musical on stage at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. Performances begin June 19th. This world famous production has been pleasing audiences since 1965 and held a Guinness World Record for the longest running annual musical. 

You can visit the Anne of Green Gables Store in Charlottetown. Located at 72 Queen Street in the heart of the historical downtown. 

Green Gables Heritage Place located in Cavendish is where you'll find the fictional home of Anne. Cavendish is about a 30-minute drive from Charlottetown.
